Good Friday morning arrived wet and rather miserable. Hey ho crack on, cakes to bake, scones to mix and lots of other little jobs to do. We didn't really get going till 12.30pm when as always seems to happen all the customers arrived at the same time!! . . . .steady trickle all afternoon from then on. Looking forward to a busy weekend hopefully. Deciding wether to bake some meringues, decisions decisions. . . .

Well we called into the Tea Room while passing through Lealholm with Emilia's cousin visiting from Spain. We had read about the opening in the Whitby Gazette and we were not disappointed. The place had a nice homely feel, with a choice of tables or settees, the service was very friendly and the cakes were home-made and excellent ( we had Banana and Walnut cake). The ideal place to relax and refresh after a long walk

Called here over the bank holiday....what a wonderful suprise. Alot of effort has been put into this venture. We had homemade bakewell. All the cakes and pastries look very tempting. Beautifully presented. I advise anyone passing these tearooms, call in and sample. Very friendly service. We SHALL be going again.
