Today has been a glorious day at Lealholm, not that we've seen much of it....... just what we've been told!! The morning was slow, probably due to the fact that in the surrounding areas the mist hadn't lifted but lunchtime and the afternoon proved busy. It was nice to see the walkers from The Moor and Mountain Walking Club from Leicestershire who took a well earned break at Shepherds Hall including the dog ( sorry we don't know her name) who just loved ice cream!

What a delight ! After about ten miles of hill-walking we came across your wonderful tearoom. The cakes and tea in proper china cups really made our day. By the way the dogs name is Nell, and she loved the ice-cream.
