Now you don't!!

Today we have removed the bar to give us more room in the Craft Gallery.  Wendy doesn't like the TV programme DIY SOS but she made short work of demolishing the bar!  A bit of magic from my brother and some "elbow" grease and we have a much bigger area.

Well the decorating in our living area is finished and looks so different.  I can now unpack some more boxes and we will have our homely comforts.  This means that we can then move on to sorting the Tea Rooms out.  We have an expert visiting on Friday to help me take the bar fittings down.  Wendy will arrive on Friday evening so Saturday will be busy!!
I am going to an Antique and Home Fair on Tuesday so lots more china will no doubt be in the boot of the car on the way home.  What can be nicer than a cup of tea in a pretty china cup...

We spent a lovely weekend at Shepherd's Hall clearing all the leaves and tidying the drive although there is still a lot to do.  We now have a plan and some semblance of order to which jobs to do first.  The priority has been our living accommodation which is now nearly complete, the hall and bathroom are to decorate and then we will be cosy.  It hasn't been plain sailing though.....taking over an old building that has been empty for a while has presented its challenges not to mention the carpet fitter spilling glue on the newly fitted lounge carpet so he is having to come back to fit a new one (at his expense of course!) 
This week's job is the decorating although there are people coming to give quotes and a furniture delivery.
